Take advantage of a centralized hub exclusively for grad students that features professional development, workshops, community building activities and special events.
Graduate Student Resource Center
The Graduate Student Resource Center (GSRC) provides unique opportunities for graduate student engagement and professional development. Workshops, community building activities and special events geared toward graduate students and graduate education are scheduled throughout the semester. The center is designed to bring customized programming to your college or academic department, and there are no fees for services provided by the GSRC.
The Grad Center is located in Rhodes West, Room 210, next to Career Services, and is home to the Graduate Student Resource Center and the Graduate & Professional Student Association (GPSA). You will find spaces for group work, quiet study and meetings, plus a lounge area. Stop in to study, eat or just relax.
Check back in August for information on upcoming events for Fall Semester 2019.
Three Minute Thesis
The College of Graduate Studies invites all who are completing a dissertation or thesis to participate in the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®). Designed originally by the University of Queensland, 3MT® is a competition that measures and supports a student's capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.
